GPS APP for phone

what gps app you using, I've got RiderX ORV Trails and so far I love it.

I've been looking for some directions or maps for this trip. I haven't come up with anything yet. Another thought is a gps, I'll need a new one. The iPhone gps that I use is no longer supported.

I'm using Trimble which has been awesome. I haven't been riding in a place where it doesn't show the trails. It will over lay weather, wind speed and temp. It does roads, topo, satellite view, etc. it will show your friends on the trail if they are using the same APP. It will allow you to down load maps so you don't need cell service. It will even show land ownership and property boundary lines.

The bad news, I got an email saying it will be discontinued and they will no longer update the maps or app. It's still works fine but will soon be out dated.

This is a satellite view of my house. Problem is, the maps aren't updated and the property is still undeveloped.


Here's the property ownership overlay.


Another cool thing it will do it save trips so you can use them as a guide. I can send a trip to a friend and he can travel the exact same trails. I can save way points with pictures and all the other fun stuff.

With all this cool stuff, I may have to give it up soon so I'll be looking for input from you guys.

I use the Trimble Hunt app and it is great. I can't believe they are going to discontinue. Not enough paid service I guess
