I hated my talon at first - but then I said I’ll use my brain and figure out the problems of the class leading gen 1 DCT non rubber band machine.

-jerky throttle was fixed with a piece of scrap aluminum - solved

-suspension took revalve/springs and disconnect sway bar to get very descent - solved

- I haven’t been outgunned motor wise on the trails by the big HP machines - I know how to drive it - I do get smoked on wide open coal haul roads but drag racing ain’t my thing.

-for a new $18k machine that is Gen 1 - now pleased - this paddle slipper is way more fun than a high dollar machine with a snowmobile inspired drive system

My son who came to TO24 with me this year drove my '23, previously owned a Razor Turbo that was kitted out and tuned to the max. They had a child and he became responsible and sold it. He tells me that the Razor was faster, but after driving the Talon for several days, he felt it was actually much more manageable and quicker through the trails. He did have a host of issues with his Razor and the selling dealer purchased it back, refunding his $$ for the machine and compensated him for all of the modifications he did to the machine after his mother let the dogs loose on them. Supposedly these machines have a host of known issues that some dealers aren't capable of correcting? He did have a bad ass sound system in it. I suppose he gets that sort of thing from his mother?

so the boy spent a s***load of money on a toy he could no longer afford, dealer gave him a full refund for the machine and all the labor and parts for accessories after his mommy went to the dealership.

this is definitely a POIDH for the check they cut and name of dealership - I wanna buy something there and if I cant afford it anymore or don't like it - take it back and no ham no foul

IIRC, I thought I read some posts where he was having a boatload of issues with it ... not just a "I can't afford / don't like it" situation.
