Has anyone built a Greg Bell engine? Has anyone used one of his turbo’s?

Kraftwerks turbo makes more horsepower with the PPEI tuners on the job. They were making 250HP at the rear wheels last time I checked. Engine reliability will drop but the drive train handles the HP well.

In the woods it's tough to use the 104 we have.

I can’t stand the Kraftworks plumbing to the cooler. Looks like a plumbers nightmare. How many pounds of boost ?

I would like to keep all of the Jackson plumbing and just change to a bigger turbo that will swap out.

They revised the way the intercooler is plumbed now. I bought a Turbo kit last spring, and it's different now. You just have to take two hose clamps off to get to the air filter. I'm running a "stock" ppei tune with stock motor internals. It's been great for 1000 miles. It's getting head bolts and pistons this winter just to be safe.

Have you done a camshaft yet?

I haven't. I'm pretty happy with the current performance. It's much faster with 32" tires then it was stock on 28's. The Kraftwerks tune was junk. Shifting was off even with 28" tires. I don't want to have to use anything more than 91 octane. I welded bungs for O2 sensors in the header, but I haven't even hooked them up to adjust the tune better. It's very thirsty now. 75 miles and the tank is dry.

I was going to suggest getting one for reliability, we've seen a few turbo guys spin the timing gear on the camshaft. Usually leads to weird idling problems and obviously poor performance. Some guys were welding the oem part as well.

We spun the one on our race car but it obviously gets the snot beat out it. We replaced it with a BC cam.
