Yeah, hehehe, I plugged the passenger side into to driver side. Don't by any means advocate this but it's what I needed to doIt's the seat belt light, you must be latching in right away.

Forum store has a bypass plug for that seatbelt if you like.Yeah, hehehe, I plugged the passenger side into to driver side. Don't by any means advocate this but it's what I needed to do
Yeah, once it starts once it fires immediately all day long as long as it doesn't get too cold. Doesn't bog. Actually runs extremely well once it's started. Heavy oil and questionable battery are what I'm thinking

My battery is 3 years old and still starts fine, if I let the fuel pump get going first.Only time mine doesn’t start right up is if I’m to impatient to let the fuel pump finish. No trouble codes displayed? Frustrating. Under warranty, then call dealer? Following and thinking...
Believe me, I'm letting fuel pump pump up. Even cycle it 3 or 4 times until I hear it stop. I'm an ASE certified (30 yrs) auto and heavy truck mechanic. IMines an 18 with 300 some odd miles on it and it does the same if I don’t let the fuel pump cycle all the way. Long as I let it do it’s thing it hits right off the bat and tires right up.
No. Never heard of this. I'll give it a tryAre you stepping on the brake paddle while cranking it?
Only if it's in Gear you do this..I just found this out.Thought it had to be in neutral to start but you press brake paddle in any gear to start it...No. Never heard of this. I'll give it a try

Or just go with the “Original Contributor” Idea. Thanks @JTW. One of the early best mods on this forum like the box.Forum store has a bypass plug for that seatbelt if you like.
It's a P5! HA! just kidding, what's the age of your battery, you have some pretty cold winters in Idaho. The battery in our P1 is a little over 3 years old and I'm thinking about replacing it with an Odyssey like my secondary battery. The original is getting a little slow when it's cold.Ok. This evening I tried to start it. Cycled key on/off 4 times, 5 seconds between. Heard pump go every time. Cranked for 6 seconds and didn't fire a lick. Stopped, tried again, about 3 seconds in she "coughed" through intake and fired almost immediately and runs flawlessly, restarts quickly every time now, even though I shut it off second it started. 60 degrees. Sat all weekend without running. Tomorrow I'm gonna put a jump box on battery first thing, as I just don't think she's cranking as fast as she should, and see what happens.
My suspicions exactlyMany posts on how sensitive these engines are to even the slightest compromise of battery strength. Finally replaced mine recently after going down rabbit holes, cleaning connections, etc. Showed good voltage, but weak on actual cranking amps.
