Several of us have looked at portals. $3000 is hard to swallow. We all want someone else to go first.
I think we should gang up on @Tflynn and get him to do it.

portals are a gear lift that gets the vehicle up in the air without putting your drive line at a crazy angle. your axle goin into a gear that is stacked vertical onto another gear that outputs to your wheels. you get a gear reduction along with a lift. most people use these if they are putting something like 37" tires and you want to regain the power you lost.

I'm getting forward arched a arms built right now so maybe after that might start looking into portals but like u said 3grand tough to spend on something like that

Two inch forward be around 2 inch lift and a fab shop in Mississippi be there first set for p700 so no money talk yet till get them right but we are gonna use adjustable heim joints for a arm bushings so we can adjust camber on tires so they won't lean

And I have talked to another fab shop that builds a arms for polaris and can am they are fixing to build for the p1000 and p700 they are called cfab in pearl Mississippi

I put them on my 1000 I recommend them if u want to go n mud I did it so I could go with 33 in tires and still b at factory specs on strain on transmission F4859f8865f65783173c3be62d8bbfc4

Looks dam good I've got 30s on my p700 she could use little help pulling them for sure and ground clearance here in Mississippi we get down deep in the mud dash deep

Have you had clutch problems yet or done the internal gear reduction on your p1000

I'm n Texas and we have mud parks we go hard here u have to b snorkeled out to go where we go I've burned 2 sets of clutches one b 4 portals and one after I didn't do the internal reduction cause if u do that Honda won't warranty it when u break the gear off

Keep me updated on this. I'm interested in a set for my p700. I see you're from laurel I'm from seminary.

Yeah that the only reason I didn't sale my p700 for the 1000 just don't need clutch problems power problems I can live with
