I'm local to the area but have never rode the HM trails until this week and had a blast! Special thanks to Tony and Malinda Boothe @ the Pocahontas ATV resort.

Man it's a great place to ride. We used to go every year then one of the guys got hurt and now no one wants to go back but me...

I was down there in May and totally enjoyed it. Next time around, I want to hit some of the other trail systems!

We rode mostly on the Pocahontas trails and half of the Indian ridge. They claim from the camp ground we stayed at to pinnacle creek trail system is 90 mile round trip... I would do it but I don't think the family would because we rode 68 miles on Tuesday and they were done lol.

We rode a lot of the "outlaw" trails before they were absorbed into the system...

It really would be. Great trails and the towns are all ATV-UTV friendly.

So big a place, need a week to ride with a chase camper. Prob still wouldn't see half of it.

There is definitely no shortage of trails or campgrounds. I've had it in my mind the whole time we was there I would love to host some sort of event like the takeover here.

Not been on those trails yet... I might have to go on a reconnaissance mission to help confirm... the map looks to b better and I believe they were the first ones to open whenever they started.

It would take me about an hour to get to Gilbert where the rock house trails are but the Pocahontas trails are only like 20min from me.
