Multi Haulin Deer

Last year I used a hitch hauler a little, but when it started bottoming out in mud holes, I ditched it and did whatever I could to get the deer back to camp. Sometimes they road in the front seat... I just couldn’t get them in the bed by myself. So I bought this to try this year. A pro grip hunters hoist. It will go all the way to the ground, and really high too. I think it will work great! If anyone buys one, I had to add another knot where the silver pull is to shorten the hole thing up a little. I’m going to put the hook through all four feet on the deer, so I know it will be high enough.

Just run it between the top and cage then. Leave it there during season.

Once we loaded a whole cow elk in the back of my 700-4 and did what @JTW said and just ran the synthetic line over the front and mid roll bar and let the bed down. We ended up taking the top half of the honda windshield off so it wouldn't interfere with the line. We just winched her in forward until her head was in the front seat with us, then just pushed the bed down and away we went. My father in law said that was the easiest elk he's loaded in 60 years. I made up a little pulley setup to try on my new 1000 so I wouldn't have to take the windshield off. I never got a chance to try it this year, because the bull I got off-course was in some nasty lava rocks that we couldn't get to. I'm sure it will work and hope to use it in the future.

Guessing somewhere around the 300 lb mark. No scale available anymore, but based on other pigs killed & weighed, prolly pretty close
