P1000 Heater core bypass valve

Is there anyone with a Pioneer 1000 that has a honda heater and installed a heater core bypass valve? If so do you have a brand/part number for the valve?

I know there's a add-on to keep fan on constantly but what if I want to turn it off? Is there an add-on for that so I can get my heater hotter/quicker in the winter?

Thanks but didn't see anything about a heater core bypass valve.

Well heres my take on this.If i was going to bypass the heater core i would make my own using ball valves.All most never leak easily found and brass fittings.The reasons i did'nt do that.1 you trap old antifreeze in the core.2 you have a extra rad if needed if stuck out somewere over heating turn the fan on might get you home while very uncomfortable i understand.Beats walking.In the summer i plug my ducts with foam to knock down the heat easy to remove if needed.

This is what I am after. Amazon doesnt have it right now and other suppliers are up to 3 times the cost.

On my Honda 700 I used a GM Chev light truck one. It's Vacuum operated but I ended up removing the vacuum part and connected a push pull cable to it. Part # GM 15714784 [660-1357] or Four seasons # 74607 .
I didn't set my 1000 with this due to my heater being under the seat.

With two ball valves and the appropriate barb fittings you can isolate the heater core. If you’re worried about old coolant, just flush it once in a while.
With a third valve you could cut off the radiator to maximize cab heat on those frigid ice fishing excursions.

Thank you,I wouldnt have any concern at all with the coolant sitting in the heater core. The only time I would want to isolate is when I have a heavy load on and pulling my tub trailer through a hilly, sandy area where I cannot get much roadspeed.

What size is the heater core lines?

5/8" is the heater core lines. There are barbs and adapters that hook the heater core in series from the engine oil cooler to the water pump which is a 1/2" line. I am looking for something neat and tidy like the valve that I posted.
