Have you tried rolling the machine back and forth?? Kinda sounds like when it's between gears. Might be worth a shot

Kinda sounds like you're missing a ground or have a short.

Odds are it's something simple. Did you say you unhooked everything you added and still no display?

I tried the between gears thing, no luck. I really think I've got it down to the keyed ignition. I only get continuity across two posts. Looking for a good wiring diagram that doesn't blur out when I zoom in.

Maybe someone has worked with the ignition switch before and can either verify or tell me I'm dead wrong. From what I can tell the two large spades are both 12v power. One set is for the starter and the accessories and headlights, the other is for the fuel pump, ignition. When I bench test the switch I only get continuity across the incoming 12v and the center bottom spade. This leads me to believe I have a bad ignition switch.

that sounds correct. the first positon should make fuses D and E hot, (ACC.)
the next should be start position and C and B fuses hot.
can you get a picture of the back of the switch?

Ok, so after retesting the ignition switch, all seems to be working there. Now what? 13265820ad789984e3bbf29a4bb4156e882eb45233fec1d9a0a63f46d642ca9d

When you sid you read continuity at the fuses, did you remove each one from the fusebox?
Are any relays clicking when you turn key to on? (1st position)

No relays clicking. I pulled and checked each fuse. Next I will test voltage at each fuse.

Ok
if you download the wiring diagram does it help when you expand it?
If you have a test light check which fuses are hot in each position of the key.

No, when I zoom in it won't focus, poor resolution. I am using a fluke meter, not see much voltage at the fuses.

Can you get to the plug that goes to the key switch with you meter? There should be 2 wires that are hot all the time.
