I just installed mine in the p500. They are also straight out like yours but not quite as far. I was able to bend the wire down and get the cover back on...hope it wont damage the wire long term. I purchased the xentec brand for $22 on ebay. Super easy install, took less than 5 min. They look great but do flicker a little, not sure if this is normal or not.

I got OPT7 Bolt series kit

To help to eliminate flickering use these
HID Capacitors

well I suppose it's good it came with a plug. As long as it seals good and you had a hole saw so it didn't booger it up bad I sure wouldn't be opposed to that it would still seem factory to anyone ever looking. Must just be slightly less room in the 500. You definitely don't want to crank over the wires as that would put massive stress where they enter the socket. If you do go that route put a very light layer of grease around the hole before the plug so it goes on easy and further helps to waterproof.

1cm seems like a lot more then I would imagine. That's a lot. I is the bulb all the way in? I'm not meaning anything but damn that's a lot! Never seen that seen them tight but...really check and make sure the rubber will stretch that much and seal if in you think it will I wouldn't worry but I'm definitely not a fan destroying anything even to win in one category. For the price and benefits it's worth a little but not if it allows water through

Thanks for the info. I drove it around tonight and didnt notice the flickering at all, think it was just because i was looking real close while shining on wall, stationary. I really like them, great upgrade for 20 bux!

was the HID kit relay connector perfect fit for p500 bulb power plug?

The plug fit but the clips wouldnt engage. The weather seal held it in pretty well tho.

Everything looks better after that much.. Back on a serious note, I ordered the 5k and now dont know if that's what I want so I ordered the 6.5K, good thing is truck takes the same light so I guess it gets the leftover. I'll put one in both sides of the Pioneer for comparison and post pics.

I plow a 1000ft access rd, and my 350+ft driveway, and I am worried the headlights might not be bright enough for night plowing. I have been dragging my feet on doing the research on lighting. if there is an easy plug and play bulb or or kit I think I would prolly try that first. The road and driveway are very narrow so backing up requires some night visibility, on my kawasaki I I just used a rechargeble LED drop light stuck to the dump bed "via heavy duty magnets " seemed to work OK " so I will prolly do that again this year so basically it's just the headlights, I have never used HID before, stayed away because of the extra hassle associated w/HID's. I like to be able to change everything back to stock if I need to so I usually don't cut and splice.
