P1000 Hot seat fixing

I’m trying this stuff out... so far it looks good, cuts easy (but is tuff as heck) and is cheap enough.... 2000 degrees resistant

It’s got metal fibers or something weaves into it....

Welcome from WV Do you have the kit installed from honda it don't look like it would help but it will surprise you how much it helps and it is free which is rare with honda HaHa

I put a piece of the insulated pad in and it helped about half but I've still got a bilge fan I'm going to put in ,on a rocker switch so i can cool in summer and heat in winter. Thanks for info on factory fix wondering if it was any good

I’m going to get the SEAT CAMPAIGN done from Honda too... but that might take a while so in the meantime I have this fix ..

I think I will use both pieces

We took her out for an hour or so ride tonight,, 41 degrees and about a e 35 degree wind chill.. we only had about 5% heat coming through (maybe 3%) from the seat ( the ONLY place heat came in was from the small cuts for seat belts).............. we could have used some of that HEAT tonight.. but we live in TEXAS so we have plenty of heat most of the time....

IMHO 100% FIXED (before Honda s Campaign)........

Now just add a bilge fan on 6 pin two position rocker switch so you can reverse it in winter and blow air in floor board ive got mine wired but not in
