Great idea! Does it get in the way of your knees?
The driver side did once. It popped the 'ring' off, but stayed in place. I've since glued the ring on, and not had an issue. I think it is more getting used to them being there than being in the way. Fyi, I'm 6'2".

Just wanted to share my 6 dollar jumbo cup holder mod. Fits my yeti rambler, colster, foam coosie, bottles, w/e!

Not the little marine ones either.... Deep enough to not allow bottles to tip.

Thanks all!
Enjoy and happy trails.
Very nice.
Clever idea on using heat to make the hole.
I enjoyed the video.

I bought these cup holders of Ebay [HASHTAG]#264248961969[/HASHTAG]. worked great cut holes larger with a utility knife. didn't have a hole saw that big. also had to trim a small lip on the underside. will hold barley pops with a large coosie or yeti rambler.

I seriously just went on Ebay and bought two of those cup holders because of your post. Great idea.

My other post was sarcasm because no props were given.
This is a common mod that I and many others copied a long time ago from someone else who came up with it before that. @JTW walked me through it the night before a ride but don't think it started with him either? Wish I could give proper credit for the idea, don't know who it originated with but it wasn't right here. ;)

I have also seen others do different variations of this mod. But it seem like when I looked for cup holder inserts before they were kind of expensive for what they were so I set the idea aside. The ebay item number he posted is $3.90 each and free shipping. At that price and a verification that they work was enough to make the order. I guess I was giving him props for the link as that is a much better deal than I found on my own.

like trigger said this has been done before. I can not take credit for it. I also glued them in when I did it.
