Primary you can feed off the ignition power wire, secondary you can feed off the relay that the ignition power wire is turning on. Then they are both switched with the ignition and separate.
You wouldn't happen to have a wiring diagram? I'm a plumber and can plumb multi story building in my head but wiring is another story!

Does this help Smitty?

The ACC wire feeding the switchs is already fused on the OEM fuse box.

The feed to the relay contacts comes from your Aux battery. This configuration will shut off all everything when the key is off.
If you want them to stay on then you will have to feed the switche with power from the Aux battery

Here’s one way of doing it, which matches the way Honda wired the machine (switched ground) not wrong just a different way from what I described earlier.

Thanks, all I'm trying to do is power a couple voltage meters from the key

Wiring is like plumbing. Instead of water or s*** you have electrons flowing.

Still have to account for capacities of the size pipe/wire, valve/switch, and downstream flows.

Difference is instead of flaming popo you can have a flood off poopoo.

Just don't have relays into increase flow, HA!

I think I will fuse and switch both meters and get with my99svt later, HA!
@my99svt is using s single pole double throw switch and one meter. is that what you want to do?

Relays don’t increase flow they control flow with a lighter duty circuit, kinda like an electric shutoff valve controlling water flow in the case of a leak.

Hi I'm new to all this forum stuff. Don't mean to butt in on the convo. Not sure where to post this , but does anyone know what type of top I would need to have in order for the quick draw overhead gun rack to fit on my pioneer 1000-3?

I chose the automated approach, the ignition controls the flow to the main side of the volt meter. The ignition flow triggers the relay for the accessory PDM main power. This in turn powers the Aux volt meter.

So when I turn the ignition on the main and aux batteries power their respective PDMs.

I don't have a clue, no I do, got two meters coming, saw a wiring diagram for one meter w/ two batteries, looked pretty nice! I will get with Tim on the next ride and put X's and O's on connection points.

First Welcome! This isn't the right thread for that, these guys will have you going to web sites that will load your gun for you, with electronics. HA! I think most gun racks mount to the ROPS. And there is a space in-between the roof and ROPs ( Roll Over Protection system ) Happy hunting with your 1000-3

That makes enough since to me as this (Plumber lingo), The emergency sanation module is activated by the turd module, that in turn activates the piss and enzyme release, the sensor down stream monitors turd and piss flow and adjust enzyme injections! HA!

Actually I changed mine, wasn’t sure how bright the meters were going to be at first. Now they are on with key. FYI, the OLED meters are the bomb!
