I mean this could happen to any locking differential

Yes but to move a locker in and out you're going to have a fork that slides the locker that is attached to a shaft. And the shaft that moves the fork is what is bent. An electronically controlled diff locker that sticks could encounter the same problem.

Sorry you don't like Hondas.

Oh it's hard to feel from just text online. Apologies. But yes it's not where it could be but I would much rather have a pioneer than anything else!

He's the biggest douche bag on this forum since JTW. Don't waste your time interacting with him.

If they were indeed recalls I would, call Honda customer service and let them know you found out after the fact. I'm assuming they were a Honda dealer correct?

If you could send me the VIN I could check.
They are indeed a Honda dealership. As is the current dealer I have it at who contacted Honda about my issue which informed them about the open recalls. Vin is attached in photo

Current recalls not showing completed on your Pioneer:

Also have them check the ECM for the Fan Update. It doesnt currently show thats its ever been done either. Honda won't pay for it anymore since it's outside the emissions warranty, but they can still do the update, it just might cost you some labor.

A public smackdown? You are delusional. You've got me blocked , but I've got friends...

@lukpy8810 - Sorry this dude ever replied to you. Take @TripleB advice, lol. Dude is just a grumpy old keyboard warrior that plays with a sock puppet in his spare time.

So there was indeed 4 open recalls on my machine from the selling dealer. Hoping to have new diff parts this coming week as well as all the open recalls taken care of!

You will have to give us the final cost from second dealer to diagnose and repair, and see if you can get any of it from the first dealer

So here's my update. All 4 recalls are completed. They are waiting on the lever outside at the top of the diff to see if that is what is bent before opening the diff up again for a 3rd time. Hoping to know by the end of the week! They said parts should be here tomorrow or the next day!

Update! They replaced the 2 parts in the diff that were potentially bent and put it all back together. It now only has the issue when turning left. So they are leaning towards the rear axles being the issue. they are going to attempt swapping the axels left to right and see if that makes a difference. Mind you they are working with one of Hondas drive line techs and that was their suggestion. So we're getting damn close. Might end up getting new stock axels for the back if that doesn't fix the issue
