Right now I'm trying to heat the UMHW skid and bend it to the correct angle but it's stupid thick (1/2") so I don't know if it'll work. If this doesn't work then I'll probably just do what you suggested.

That’s what I had to do… I also used some clamps to hold it while it cooled

FWIW
I cut a tranverse line with skillsaw partially thru from the top where I wanted it to bend.
Multiple lines if it needs to curve.
Helped alot. Then used floorjack and board to flex plate up to drill and bolt.

HMF front bumper installed. Way more difficult than expected as nothing lined up and you need to be some type of contortionist to get to parts. Also mounted the winch although I still need to do the wiring.

I had one on my bumper bolt. Looked like it just had some super glue for a weld!

Fortunately not. That would kinda nomo suck. I did have one welded nut that holds the roof on come loose.

SuperATV Flip-Up Windshield Installed. The Talon windshield flips up much higher than the one on Smokin' Jay, even after I modified Smokin' Jay's to gain another inch (nomo).
