P1000 junk tires.

Went for a short ride today. Nothing major just some dirt roads and somehow cut the sidewall on the stock black stone tires. 70 miles on the rig. Right rear went flat and had to limp about 5 miles back to the trailer. Only good thing ican say about these tires is it stayed on the wheel. Looking at the cut these tires are crap. Sidewall is so thin! Looking for tire suggestion looking to go 28" on a 14 inch wheel. Thinking of going 10 and 12 wide.

Lots of folks seem to like the blackwater evos and roctanes. I personally am switching to a light truck tire since I'm in blacktop 40 percent of the time and the bighorns sing a helluva song at 45mph

I have 30in blackwater evos with 14 in wheels on my p1k. They are a 8ply tire and pull really well. I went through some slop in turf mode that a honda 420 with 30in interforces had to use 4x4.

Also like the Evos. 8ply adds alot of peace of mind. Great all around tire.

If you do alot of rock climbing, the Roctanes can't be beat. I've personally seen them out climb the Evos on rocks. They are true to size too. Something the Evos aren't. At least the 30s aren't.

My last ride resulted in 3 flat tires. All punctures through the tread on my stock blackstone tires. I was out on my hunting property where it is all mesquite and all thorn trees. Was riding the same trails that I used to take my Ez-Go workhorse up and down all the time with no tire issues. Luckily I carry a tire repair kit and small compressor with me. Would have been a very long hot walk back to camp in 100+ degrees. Thursday I ordered a set of Rocktane XD-K's and 14" wheels. Supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I hope the Rocktanes prove to be a more puncture resistant tire. They better be for $195 a tire!

I run 30" roctane tires on 14" bead locks. Good tires. Next tires ill prob go w a MT truck tire tho. Just cuz I ride a lot of roads after long rides on Friday nights w the guys.

Seems like I measured 28.5" at 8.5# pressure. We put them side by side with some 28" Evos on Dgann's 700 (Joey's old bike) and I couldn't tell the difference. When these wear out ill buy the 28s. I'm sure they are cheaper lol

You didn't happen to notice what price difference was between 30 and 28s was did you? Just curious.

The 30's are only about 10$ more. I oredered form kj motor sport. Really knolagable and helpful. Shipped fast they got them out today should be here Monday New York to California.

How do the 28" evo's measure? True to size? The crap black water 27's on the machine measure about 25.5 so a true 28 should look good.
