P1000 Key on power

Where is the best place to get key-on power? All I need it for is to run the LED lights in the switch panel I have coming. I'm going to get the power to run whatever accessories from the battery.. or soon to be the second battery. This power is just to activate the lights in the switches and the back-lit script in the panel itself.

On the Yamaha, I got a simple in-line 4" long harness that plugged into the cig lighter and gave me a pig tail to hook to.

I don't imagine there is anything as simple as that for the Honda, is there?

I had to find out the hard way and tapped into the ones on the wrong side but tap into the white wire with the black stripe on the passenger side of the fuse box under the hood. It’s the acc wire and the 5th one down.

Easy, - P1000 - Key On Power, Illumination, and backup source! - Honda Pioneer 1000

15 amp ACC fuse is what you tap into, Tap into the side with the 2 (white white black stripe) wires coming out of the one port.
These 2 wires run to the accessory Cig plug below the dash and the reverse trigger (alarm) plug in the rear. Both KEY ON POWER!

I used a positap and found it easier to come off the cig/accessory wire down by the plug itself.

I use the accessory plug on my P500 for all sorts of things. It is definitely key on power. So your Yammie solution should work for you as well.

I installed my isolator in the same location as yours, I water proofed the bottom and drilled several holes in the recess so it wouldn't hold water.,
