I went with this Penton mounted to the black plastic between the hood and windshield. Not hooked up yet, so not sure whether I will like it here or not.

I thought about doing my 42" curved like this one since that's about the only place. Or I thought bought selling and get the 32" and put it on the black peice on the hood.

its straight. fit in there like a glove!
Did you mount on the plastic? I was gonna try the same thing but not sure if it solid enough.
You happy with the location ?

The bigger bars have a wide throw or add the small cubes.

I'll probably just have a single 40ish inch bar.
Here is where I mounted mine. Ran power thru isloated 2nd battery source. Have 2 more for rear light. On dash with toggle switch. All go on same time while off roading.

A bit overkill.

I'm completely happy with the location. It's mounted in the black plastic between the red plastic and the windshield. Very solid. The thing I like the most is that its in a relatively protected area and I don't have to worry too much about limbs and stuff taking it out.

Got my 32" curved bar installed - finally.
Whats great about this mounting location is branch protection.
It was bumping the windshield frame so I shimmed it up 3/8 inch.

The light is amazing.
3 sets of images from 2 locations: Low Beam, Hondas famous tree-top high beam and just the light bar.
I had pictures of lights bar with high beam but not much different tha just the lightbar.

How is that light bar doing mounted to the top like you have it? I just bought a 50 in curved and that's where it looks the best. I was just a little hesitant.

My 700 has been gone almost a year now, it wasn't going anywhere and I hit plenty a limb with it.

Good Night Nurse! Did a coon hunter design the high beam lights? I was running around the mountain last night after dark for the first time in the machine, and while enjoying the stealth mode afforded by the full moon, I decided to try out the headlights. Low beams were pretty decent, but the high beams were shining up into the top of the trees. I couldn't tell if they provided more down the road distance or not, but could see to the tops of the trees, where I try NOT to drive.

Impatiently waiting the arrival of the last of the parts I need to mount a decent light bar.
