Solder a new length to the plug for the time being.
Order a replacement sensor from the dealer of your choice. It should come complete.

Found a new neutral switch. Roughly $15 online. I cannot find a picture of it though. Looks at the parts breakdown, you may be able to purchase that harness.
Sub-Trans case diagram.
Item #15 appears to be harness. $105ish full list.

Thank you. Ended up having to eliminate the plug, it’s straight wired now, but running fine again. After repairing it it still wasn’t right until I disconnected the battery for a moment and let it clear it’s head, once reconnected it was back to normal. Btw @Neohio, one cat on a 160 acre ranch that I’m at a third of the year won’t work. I’ll just have to put poison out and hope for the best.

EXACT same problem with my 2016 1000-5. There was mention earlier here of others with same issuel but this was the only thread i found on this particular code and this particular wire chewed in the exact same place. Of course mice can chew on just about anything but, Is this a common issue with this one wire in this particular place? A google search on "soy based plastic on wire coatings"
soy based plastic on wire coatings - Google Search Shed some light on a possible explanation. Does my pic link familiar?
