P1000 Lookout Hatfield & McCoy trails!

Loaded up and headed that way in the morning. Last year was our first time and we immediately booked a stay for this year when we got back home. So glad they reopen the trail last week. Thought we were going to have to cancel the trip. Looking forward to a great ride!! 7 day trip this go around.

Glad you could make it up and didn’t have to cancel. Welcome to my neck of the woods.. 😉 The outlaw trails round here are awesome as well... 🤫🍻

Even though you’re in the heart of the HM trails, if you venture off of them there will be some outlaws.. 👍🏻 I think you may be hitting the trails off Hwy 52.. Your in a good riding spot for sure!!!

Hoping to see some of the historical sites. Any idea where some are. We stopped at the railroad in Matewan last year I think. Might have been in Man 🤷‍♂️

Yah, that would be Matewan in the area your at. There is the coal house in Williamson witch is really cool!!

Matewan is on Buffalo Mountain trail system heading toward Williamson. Man is on the north side of Rockhouse. Go to Kieth's bar. Great food. Also there is a distillery in Gilbert.
