Well that one big one would hold everything that I would think I would need, but then I wouldn't have the ability to have the cooler with me too. That was my primary consideration when try into figure out what sizes to piece together.
I over bought and will probably end up returning some or using them at home. I wanted different sizes because, quite honestly, I'm not sure yet everything I will want/need to have on the trails with us. I'm 1,000% new to this and am learning as I go by researching this forum, other forums and good ol' trial and error.

Oh I'm new to the Milwaukee Packout game as well, it's honestly like trying to put together Legos in a manner that fits on the base mounting plate while holding what you think you need or want.

EDIT: I was mistaken that the 22" box might not fit - Members verified otherwise, which is great!😁

In place of the big 22" box I went with TWO of the 6" deep small parts boxes, One holds all my tools except my air compressor, the other can hold whatever. All of them having the removeable dividers sure add to the versatility for sure. Still tinkering with what I want where. I thought I wanted the one big cooler but like the 22" box nothing else really fits the Talon specific base plates. I went with two of the 16 qt coolers one for drinks and one for food if I know I'm going to be out all day with wife n dogs, otherwise the one cooler will be plenty for just me.

After all that rambling just trying to point out that two of those 6" deep small parts boxes swapped for that one big box may give you more options.

Of all the things that educated me on what fits and don't fit with each other was the HOME DEPOT online build your packout combo configurator, it won't let you stack incompatible widths for each attachment plate size, just drag and drop the different sizes to see what works for you. I probably spent an hour playing with that while looking at the Talon base plate setup to figure out what works before making a decision.

Is this the setup you are asking about? The box on the left is a 22” box with a cooler size on the right.

I didn't put in the additional screws as I didn't want to screw into the plastic until I'm 100% sold on it. I used Gorilla double sided tape and the factory screw locations.
I did the exact same thing when I first installed it. Suffice it to say, I have since installed the screws. Very pleased with this item.

AJK Offroad plate. 22" large on the driver's side and the half size on the passenger side. Of course, you can swap them around as well, or use three of the half sizes.

EDIT 11/11/24 - I was mistaken on the 22: boxes not fitting, disregard my comments to that effect.

I was contemplating going with that large box 22" wide I believe, that you have on the bottom left, but then all the mounting plates will only accept it centered and you cannot run the 10" wide boxes / coolers beside it like you have on the bottom right. IT will be interesting if you get a mounting solution that will let you run them side by side as pictured. This was the only width format I could find that worked. Notice the small gap I have between the two stacks / coolers, it's not enough to fit the bigger box.

Good luck, at least you have storage!

You may not have been wrong about them not fitting. I think the difference comes down to the mount. It looks like the one you have on your thread is 30.7" while the AJK Offroad one (and I'm assuming Bear's) is 31". While a small difference, that can sometimes make all the difference.
