There is a video on YouTube where some company does this to a Polaris ranger 1000 and it will smoke the tires off the machine I just wonder what the transmission in the Honda pioneer 1000 might limit this reflash to or if it will change the shift points when you increase the other stuff

He doesn't have access to any of the transmission stuff yet, only fuel and timing. He can use a PCV fuel map if you have one to set the fueling in the ECU. If enough people hound him for transmission changes he might dig into it and see what he can do.

Wonder what this will do to your warranty and I would think if the transmission can’t handle the reflash on the other stuff it wouldn’t do you any good you might feel a little difference

You could buy a second ECU and swap them out before you take it to the dealer....

Power commander does. By adding more fuel. Not perfect but it's better.

I agree with emailing him about our interest. I will buy one as soon as he does transmission tuning and check to see if there is torque management software that can be disabled or reduced.

Maybe I asked if it was possible to set the fan to come on sooner, I also have sent my extra radiator, shroud and fan of to a custom shop to build a new radiator fan set up that is much larger with a more efficient shroud and a better fan.

I picked up a used PCM on eBay for $50. This is tempting, It might wait until after shocks though.

Seems it would be helpful if they told specifically the increase in HP and torque.
