With all my gear, and two people, mines pulling about 1,600 lbs. and we climbed a hill for a mile +/- last weekend that was so vertical the front tires were light on the ground and she just crawled right up it.

Look here buddy boy, you've seen my rig, and the two people riding in it, the gear and all I carry. Are you denying that there's 1,600 lbs there? Or just disputing that it pulled us up a mountain so steep that the front wheels were light on the ground, hmm?

Dobeck performance has released a fuel controller for the P500 just this spring. Not aware of an exhaust yet... Did e-mail Big Gun Exhaust but as yet the've not designed anything so far, my suggestion is shoot them a note to show interest....

My thinking, the ability to adjust fuel delivery is awesome, thank you Dobeck. This is only part of the equation we need provisions for addition air (meaning intake AND exhaust) capacity. Also given air/fuel ratio is metered via an O2 sensor loop, I'd think additional exhaust flow capacity would be critical for any meaningful gains? I looked at the stock exhaust and it appears it's a one piece unit, with limited room to cut off or gut the cat (I know enviro blastphamy), and fit with a slip on muffler, say one for a Rubicon. Interesting with an O2 sensor and fuel controller you should be able to meter with some precision. Hopefully Big Gun or others develop a solution soon.

Had a supertrapp on my 01 Honda Rubi and it worked great with Dynojet carb kit, if I could get similar performance gains from a programmer, exhaust and intake for the P500 that would be puuurfectt.

Not sure there is room behind the cat and pipe diameter in this area is kinda ratty so not sure a slip on would fit easily. As I don't have immediate access to Tig welding for SS would be a hassle to design appropriate hangers. I'll wait for now.... I mean it's ok with the gear I have now but more bottom end to mid power would be great.

I want more speed. Just need to not be stupid. I have sway bar off and 26'S. Never a rolling problem. All my tippy moments were before either removed sway bar. Not enough articulation to keep all 4 on dirt

I climb steep hills in second and four wheel drive, and exceedingly steep hills in L-4. I haven't met one that I couldn't climb if it wasn't so steep that the front wheels wouldn't stay on the ground. That's pulling 1,600 lbs!!! Roll your P-5 in a curve on a gravel road at 40 mph and tell me the P-5 wasn't going fast enough, lol.

40mph? My 2018 p500 maxes at 37 at most. Pushed it to 40 for a couple miles on a blacktop shoulder & it started cutting out. I’m assuming due to temp as it didn’t seem to have a speed limiter.

It does have a rev/speed limiter!!!
