P1000 Need Help Identifying

Can someone help me and tell me what brand these tie rods are. I bought my machine used. It’s a 2019 and I bought it in 2021. Theses tie rods are getting sloppy and I need new ones or should I replace back to stock or go to @SuperATV .

Not sure on the brand but you could just replace the heims if you want to keep them. Just need some new JM10T FK heims:

Go with stock. The updated tierods are good to go and don't bend like the old ones.

Thanks @TripleB , I’ve read where the new ones are a lot stronger now. I’m going to try the new Heims and see how long they last and then might spring for the OEM. I’m not sure if I could just order the 2022 tie rods or if I would have to get the steering rods all the way to the rack. Not sure if the previous owner changed to run these Heims or just changed the tie rods for the Heims

I wondered about C-Fab also, they look a lot like theirs. I’ve ordered the replacement Heims Adam had sent me. Hopefully they get it tightened back up. Thanks @Mopower58 I’ll post back when I get the new ones on.

Well I have figured out that my hd tie rods on my machine are made by turnkey. Also figured out that to install these you have to drill out your knuckle where the outer tie rods goes to get that big bolt through to hold the heim joint. I guess I’ll keep running it for now, I looked up new knuckles and tie rods on Ron Ayer’s and it’s cheaper to keep what I’ve got. Not sure why someone would put these on due to drilling out the knuckle seems a bad idea to me but I’m stuck with it. I’ll change the Heims and keep riding

Good luck with that. No way to grease those huh? Did you check with C-Fab? Those look mighty similar.

The previous owner did though and I was thinking about changing to the 2022 tie rods but now I would need new knuckles also. I see, if you can find some, I would suggest grade 8 or more. They will be a harder material and wear out a little slower.

Thanks for the advice Mopower58. That’s what I’ll be looking for. The new tie rods was $196 before shipping and the new knuckles was $96 per side. So a couple of bolts and Heims will be a lot cheaper.

You are welcome, cheaper is always good provided the quality is there. You might could drill and tap for grease fittings if possible.
