Interesting....thats taller than my 30s. They should ride good.
Very happy on one hand, but concerned on the other hand. May have to modify P1K to make fit. Install with 20# measured 28.75" and rubbing skidplate pretty good on full turn. At 10# 28.25" tall, still rubbing.

Wonder how low pressure I can go? Still have to check suspension action

Either trim the skid plate or forward offset arched a arms... I was hoping the 28’s would clear. Also, watch the edge of the bumper at full compression. I had to trim my bumper with the 30’s and TC bumper. I have the SATV a arms and HL lift too. But I’d take a flapper wheel to the skid first and see how it does. You should be able to get them to clear with just some minor trimming here and there. I don’t think you’ll have much to worry about with the 28’s.

Yeah, when I get time I plan on cutting the lip of the skidplate back, and hope that does it. Hopefully there won't be any problem of rubbing as suspension moves. Since I stayed with 28, dont want to have to do arched arms.

I don’t blame you... I’m betting that the skid trimming and maaaaybe the bumper edge should take care of you. Might have a little scrubbing at full compression but i bet it’s minimal. Put them at 8psi and run it!

Yeah, I was thinks as stout as they are they may hold up with very little air.

My tires measure exactly 28". I had to cut the skid. You will need to also. 0d3bf68528475501e2cd65091cf0be0d

Thats a big 28. More like a typical 30 size when aired down. Might need a arms or a lift since those are over 28.

Haven't had time to install rears yet. Got 10# in the fronts, but for some reason the height differs left to right. Right is 27 7/8", Left is 28 1/4, got me scratching my head. Reckon they may be out of round? Used a level on both side to make sure of measurement.

@JTW you previously mention about having to trim your TC bumper. Was yours closer than this to tire?

Hard to say from the pic... but keep in mind. Mine also sit 1.5” further forward due to the a arms and with the 30’s and 2.5” HL lift they’ll be a little different. They would just barely contact the edge though.

Here you can see where I trimmed about 1/2” off..
