Should have kept it! I should have kept the 1970 Chevy C10, the 1975 CJ5 Renegade, and the 1983 CJ7 Renegade.Rangers, I loved my ranger.

Bought new in 1997 and sold in 2012. Sometimes I wish I had it back.

Ya know.. if plumber had an ecoboost we wouldn’t have been late to the overland!!
Some people don’t forget a bad experience. I run into people all the time talking about how bad Hyundai/Kia are and I just snicker. Yep I thought the same thing way back. Now it’s a different story for thoseYour thinking 15 years ago.
Hahaha I was just fresh out of high school and was broke after I bought it.Nice! Mine had 100k on it before I bought it. Broke high school kid working after school...

5.5 is short for most situations. Had one, never again.X2 on the 6.5 foot bed. One of the other guys has it at work and it made me realize how bad my short bed sucks.
Wish I had that Blazer!I'm sure we've all got those rides we spent all our dough on when we were young.. I know I do! This was one of 'em. My GOD, I spent a ton of cabbage on that sucker! I don't have any finished pics in my computer here, but this one is most of the way there.
Ended up running 36" Buckshot mudder radials on it. Had a pretty strong 350 that I kept messing with.. Dam thing was as clean as a pin when I was done. It was one hell of an off-roader too.

Wish I still had my L.U.V. HA!Me too! hahaha!! I wish I still had that '72, wish I still had the '70 Blazer, the '69 3 door K15 Suburban, the '77 911S, the '78 Trans Am, either one of my V8 4speed Monza's..... the list goes on. Stupid kid!
Those were a great candidate for a small block! A buddy of mine had one.. that bugger would torch the tires for miles!Wish I still had my L.U.V. HA!
Ok guys I just bought 2 new used trucks to replace 3 old units. So if anyone is looking for a used pickup with over a 100k miles let me know. They all have been well maintained and driven every day. There are not perfect but would be perfect transportation for a young new driver.
If anyone is interested PM me and I'll give you info and pictures

In the last 37+ years I have driven at least 15 or so of these type Chevies. I have only 1 that has been a problem child. So why change???Chevy's?!?!!? Ewwwwwwwwwww
jk wish you were closer I'm kicking around a older WT to keep the miles off my nice one. Jeep does the trick in the summer but it's too small with top and doors on.
Let me put it to you like this.... when you changed wives, has it been better? In the last 37+ years I have driven at least 15 or so of these type Chevies. I have only 1 that has been a problem child. So why change???

I will say my next truck could be a Ford. That 7.3 gas motor might be pretty tough. Put some pipes on the thing and let it rip! I miss the noise you get with a big block.Let me put it to you like this.... when you changed wives, has it been better?
Nothing sounds better than a big gas v8 for sure.I will say my next truck could be a Ford. That 7.3 gas motor might be pretty tough. Put some pipes on the thing and let it rip! I miss the noise you get with a big block.
Get a diesel set up right and you won’t miss that sound! Something about the low rpm 6 cyl sound and a nice blow off brings a smile to your face. Especially manual, sounds like an old 18 wheeler going through the gears. V8 is a car engine Can always tell a healthy Cummins for milesI will say my next truck could be a Ford. I get asshats all the time blowing by my house with their tuned diesels. I think there just noise. I'll take the sound of a big v-8 any day!Get a diesel set up right and you won’t miss that sound!
