I didn’t know being a Cummins fan in any group was really a bad thing. s*** before long maybe there will be a direct bolt Honda swap available for all other Sxs makes like Cummins is lol.

I’m not a fanboy ...hateboy more like it I hate Chevy and I hate Polaris....the rest I’ll pick what’s gonna fit my needs best. If The talon ends up being a turd I’ll buy a YXZ,

If they would put those engines in a better truck I would like them more... nothing wrong with the engine... it’s everything else.

I saw my first X in person yesterday. Really tight fitting, quality feel, but if I'm being honest it's not a good looking machine. I kept hearing it was better looking in person. That front bumper sticking way out kinda like the p500...I don't know I'm just not feeling it. This one was blue though, maybe Honda red would hit me different o_O

That being said, all the reviews make it sound favorable to the yxz from a drivability standpoint in the woods.

At any rate, I'm still happy with the p1k....for now....:rolleyes:

I’ve seen one looks are ok, let’s see how it performs in reality vs on paper.

Not sticking up for the brand but you did have a bad year, probably the worst. To be truthful even the worst years of Cummins fail to be as bad as a few years of the other makes. Everyone has problematic rig at times. Big changes on a model should be avoided till following year on most manufacturers imho.

I haven't had a half ton pickup since 2003. I actually like the way my 1 ton rides. My '14 F350 can pull whatever the hell I want to hook up behind it, and haul whatever fits in the bed.
I just don't wanna look back and wish I'd bought more truck..

Mine is a '14, so 800 lb' torque, and 425 HP, so even though it weighs 7300+, it still moves out well.

Fuel economy isn't as good as the '03 6.0 I had, but it was tuned and deleted too.

I get about 14mpg empty running 75-80, & 9.5-10mpg at the same speeds pulling my 20' (8' tall) V-nose with the Pioneer in it. I know it'd do better if I didn't have 10 ply 12-50/35's and a level lift on it, but I like the look.

Love my truck.

My first dodge was actually an 88. It was a tough truck no doubt, but wasn’t “nice”. I rebuilt this one all myself down to the paint when I was in high school... no Cummins in that though..

That’s a 94. Last truck I built myself. Started paying people after that. Built that my first year out of high school. It had EB front and rear axles, locker in front and spool in rear. With the factory 4.0 it would light up 40’s through first and bark second and chirp third. That truck was amazing. If I could have one back I got rid of, that’s the one.

I was around 10-12” of lift on here. Wild horses springs for a EB. Coil buckets from a bronco flushed to the frame and shackles flipped and lowered in the rear. Those are 40” sts swampers in that picture. (My road tires) had 38-40” sx, boggers, and some other crap too. I spent every dime I had back then on my truck. It was pretty show truck worthy and could still ride the bottoms and trails.
