Hi Folks!

Been awhile since I've been on the forum. I have a 1000-5 question.

I use my machine for work, on hard pack mostly, and I'd like to be able to get more life out my tires. I'm eating up fronts pretty quick. Would I be ok with a set of MB 352 wheels, 12x7 with 4+3 offset and a set of Rage Storm 27-9.00 12 on all four corners? Seems I'd want 1" spacers for the back? I rarely encounter mud, and realize the narrow tires on back won't be a whole lotta help in sinking situations.

Any pluses other than looks to go to a 14" tire/wheel setup?

And....I can't increase overall height of machine do to loading restrictions of trailer.

Any pointers for getting all four tires the same so rotations are possible are welcome.

Thanks!!

Have you checked your alignment? Most of them the toe is off causing front tire wear. If most of your riding is on hard pack I'd go with a 14" rim and light truck tires. I run General grabber at2 27-8.5 14 all the way around on 4 +3 rims. On my last Utv with this setup I put over 8500 miles on the tires and still had over 2/3 tread left

I'm glad you responded, thanks. Your setup was one that I found in all the research I've been doing on truck type tires. My only concern with the Grabbers is making the ride rough through open fields and even though they're 27", possibly increasing overall height of machine. I know with the stock tires, claiming 27", they actually measure much less mounted on the Pioneer.

I'm certainly interested in your thoughts and experiences with the Grabbers. Did you need spacers?

And.....Alignmemt will be first priority once new set of tires are installed.

No need for spacers . The tire height is more like 26 1/2 and I only run around 12 psi so the ride isn't bad

10-4, thanks.

Whenever you get a chance, would you mind posting a pic of the back of yours with the Grabbers?
