NiceDidn't get pics of revamped front section but here's the back. Lock goes in the hole. Still got to finish painting View attachment 71353
I almost went with Pioneer hard not to but got the Rockford. Keep us postedView attachment 71354
Running full Length 4' wide with sealing hoping to use the whole thing for a box mounting 4 6.5 kickers, 2 pioneer 10" shallow mount subs, 2 boss amps.
Mine is 4' wide. 4 6.5's in front and 2 6.5's and 2 8's in back Wanted 10's but had 8's laying around from daughters old car. A boss 2400 amp. I have an old audio art amp in the closet that I might add if radio isn't enough for front.View attachment 71354

I was going to do the same thing with full sheet of plywood but didn't want to interfere with the way the roof mounts so I went 2 separate sections and going to hang them from the roll cage. These are them waiting on the arrival of components. Could of mounted more speakers but wanted storage.View attachment 71354

When you get the components installed, what do you think it will weight?I was going to do the same thing with full sheet of plywood but didn't want to interfere with the way the roof mounts so I went 2 separate sections and going to hang them from the roll cage. Front section maybe 5-6lbs now. Radio and speakers yet to add. Back section I'm not for sure it holds the subs and amp plus it was bigger. I have subs and speakers in it and it probably weighs 12-15lbs now. Amp would be only thing left to add significant weight. I never really thought a lot about the weight. Just seen these 600+ setups and figured I could build my own for 300 or less. Gonna have around 350 in it and dual battery setup. I had subs and battery. When you get the components installed, what do you think it will weight?
Put it on you tube then tag it .looking goodI actually had a video but it won't let me upload it. Oh well. Sounded good but subs were rattling
Well. I guess you have got to be smarter than what your working with and it appears I am not. I can't seem to figure out how to get the video on YouTube. Thought I had it... but...nope. Not real tech savy here. Can build ya just about anything out of anything but when it comes to computers I'm a dumb***. Have to get one of the kids to do it I guessPut it on you tube then tag it .looking good
