Hey guys. Thinking of adding a P1000 to the mix. Any concern about trail width in the midwest? We ride northern WI and The Upper peninsula. Thinking of going out west and east as well.

The 1000 is perfect for Wisconsin trails as long as you ride state land. The national Forest stuff by Ashland, Port wing and Washburn is still only 50" machine but the rest of the state is great. The UP has some 50" stuff too but almost all the firelanes are fair game and there are tons of trails

Todd great to hear! We just spent the last 3 days in Ironwood down to Mercer.
Took the p500 and my 2 atvs. We saw so many sxs my wife and I started talking about something for us to enjoy together.
This brings me to my next question. My dealer has 2 new 2018s one is 3 seat 12" wheels. The other 5 seat auto leveling w 14" wheels. I have purchased 2 machines from him so the deal is a difference of $1600 between the 2. One is red the 5 is yellow. Thoughts?

I'd buy the 5 seat. You can still use the bed and if you want you can remove the rear roll bar. It's a lot harder to add the seats later. Almost every dealer in WI is at $14,800 plus tax for a 18 1000-5 deluxe.

I bought the 5 seat but if I had it to do over I would buy the 3 seat. Way too hot for passengers in the back IMO.

From what I was reading last night. Isn't there a fix for this now?

My buddy's Textron Wildcat battery died last weekend, so at 175 lbs I was the smallest of four grown men in my 2018 1000-5. The wagon did fine on rocky trails out here. Low 70s...no complaints of heat from the back. I'm sold on the Pioneer. Recommend the 5 seat for versatility/options.
