P1000 P1000 acceleration vs rzr 800

A P10005 looks like everything in a sxs ive been holdin out for, wont be able to test drive for a few weeks. Mostly for farm work, but the buddy ill be ridin trails with has a rzr 800 4 seater and i was wondering how this pioneer 1000 would run with it. Couldnt find any videos of drags with the rzr 800 out there yet. Thanks

I know someone out there who owns a Pioneer 1000 has a friend with a rzr 900 or 1000..
We want to see some races.... PLEASE.
Yes, I would expect a rzr 1000 to our run it. But until we know for sure... we dont know for sure!

I had both and the p1000 will out run 900xp ranger but they are both very fast. If you race make sure you are in 2wd with sport mode on. As far as the polaris 1000 rzr race they are geared different it's kinda like racing a fast truck against a sports car.

Thanks for replies, i plan on posting drag videos vs every sxs in the comunity, as soon as i pick mine up. Not that its a race machine , more to answer questions like mine that are just curious.

My prediction is the 1000 will beat a razr 800 on blacktop. But throw in some bumps or fairly rough terrain and it wont. Suspension and weight will limit its ability. Also if you want to race in soft terrain or across a field of 6-8" of snow or in the sand the honda won't pull the higher gears to max rpm. Or uphill . That is my experience with all the atvs my friends and I have had "pretty much all of them" when it's gears vs cvt.

Some depends a little on the model to. The 5 seater is heavier than the 3 seater. Also if the person driving knows when to shift in manual mode. I shaved a full second on a 0-60 pull when in manual over auto/sport mode. Always fun to see drag races!!)

Lol someone spent alot of time copying and pasting! No doubt the pioneer is fast but I think it's intended as a family trail cruser.

Just picked up my white deluxe 5 seater, love it, great work and family machine. And it is faster than a 2014 rzr 800 4 seater. Will upload a video when i get someone to record it next time.

I raced a Rincon with my p 1000-5 and pulled away from it by a fairly large span and I had an extra passenger too. In your vid.....Yours seemed to be neck and neck. ?????

That guy is a pretty driver. He launched in 4x4 and then shifted out at the first shift of the tranny. Also, he loaded up the torque converter and drivetrain be power braking it to get a good launch. On top of that, I had cooler and lunch for 4 in the back plus recovery gear.
