Thank you and be sure to post pics after install !Chooglin,
Glove box showed up at 7:30 am from the PO. Its like early Christmas.
The box is beautiful. Myself, my cellphone, spare glasses and gloves thank you. Nice work.
Think I will install it New Years Day.
Take care,
Your welcome and thank you for the kind words , it means a lot to see a post like this!!!View attachment 28912 View attachment 28913 View attachment 28914 View attachment 28915 Oh my !!!
Both my Choogboxes came in today.
I had to show them off.
These boxes are crazy solid and precisely welded all the way around.
Any of you on the fence about getting one, DO IT!
You won't doubt it's worth, after seeing it firsthand.
Better than heavy duty!
Thanks @Chooglin Feels like you made it especially for Blueberry to last forever!
Totally agree. Love that piano hinge. I bet Chooglin could sell these to dealers across the country and quit his day job. We'd see pics of him riding his P5 at Key Largo!View attachment 28912 View attachment 28913 View attachment 28914 View attachment 28915 Oh my !!!

Hey @Chooglin –
The glove box arrived in today’s mail, Thanks Joe
Your post on installing [HASHTAG]#165[/HASHTAG] was spot on, I did make a few changes which are a little faster than cutting out using a utility knife.
First I scribed a line 1/2 inch from lip as you suggested
Then I drilled a starting hole near one corner
Using a fine tooth metal jig saw blade held in vise grips I cut along the scribed line
Cleaned up with utility knife, file, sanding drum
Thanks again for the making the glove box

I think I reduced image size and therefore quality a little too much as these photos do not look that great, but the glove box does.
when will you be installing it ?My office in Arkansas informed me that the box from Ohio arrived today!!! Thanks one more time!!!@Chooglin![]()
Well, it's for my buddy's ride @TR1 (Yellow Jacket) Christmas lol. But I'll have mine in his shop mid January for full skids, front guard, shackle mount, new doors install, and a few other incidentals, I imagine we'll do his glove box then.when will you be installing it ?
That's why I have so much gray hair (HaHa)... Been there, done that, have scars to prove it from broken blades, and other mishaps, etc, etc.Glad you are happy with it and the install looks great.
Great idea using the jigsaw blade with vice grips , I hadn't thought of that !
Thank you so muchStill singing praises @Chooglin !!!

Pm sentHey @Chooglin I'll take a box. Send me the pmt info please sir
View attachment 29026 Installing... I used a jigsaw and the "two sharpie" method. Lol.
Just be sure to measure for yourself before you cut into the dash.
Hole should be NO WIDER than 6.5" at its widest point, across the bottom.
Wow that came out perfect! Excellent job Jshell!
I dont get it tho...Whats the 2 sharpie method ?
