We had a hay ride tonight. I pulled a 6x14 single axle trailer with 10 square bales of hay at 60 pounds a piece, 8 adults and 3 kids at roughly 1600 pounds, and the trailer weighs about 400 pounds. I didn't realize how much I was pulling until after the ride when I couldn't lift the tongue of my trailer by myself with only the hay on it! The pioneer pulled all 2600 pounds great though! I pulled them up hill in 2nd gear with minimal struggle. And I had to have at least 300 pounds of tongue weight. I am impressed....
