I went over the big rock at the beginning where everyone went around did it. It was a perfect rock to push both my wheels out at the same time and of course twice the torque on my highly modified engine turned the wheels like butter!

But I will say the i4wd is way more maneuverable in that tight nasty stuff than mine is in full lock. It definitely has its advantages after riding with @Cuoutdoors the last couple times now.

Awesome video, thanks! I have 2 questions: has a P500 ever been able to make it up that V notch? and, throughout the P1K group, was there any noticeable difference between those with front lockers and those with I 4wd?

I’m not going to say a 500 couldn’t make it but it’d be a full send and a prayer.

I backed out of the Overland trip a couple years when I still had the P500, partially due to a scheduling conflict at work(and knowing the limits of my machine), but it was probably for the best!

Some of the rocks we were driving over was the size of a 500. Videos dont do much justice for the terrain.
