@Calvin,
For the light on the switch. I just ran the brown wire tap straight to the switches via the yellow wires shown behind the switches.

NO. Do not run this USB via the brown wire light tap.
The light will always be on whenever it has power. Don't really need a relay. But I would fuse it.

Your ground buss? I'm trying to get a good look at what you did there?

@Johnny_C
Just make sure it is out of the way of everything. It is a un-fused positive you dont want touching anything.

I'll contact Super winch to see if
they will send one to me.

Is it a thermal overload switch?

Thanks!

John

Questions?
What did I leave out?
Do you know what size wire that is for the key on power , I'm at work and was fixing to order the posi wire tap and wanted to make sure i got right size? I was thinking the 18ga to 22ga posi tap would work ?

@Hondasxs told me to get these this is what he used. He guessed it to be 16g wire.

@Calvin. Went back and looked this morning. I used the red ones with gray ends. They fit well. Not sure the size of them. They were included in the PDM kit.

Thanks Honda for uploading the picture of the Terra installation. I have a Terra 45 that I'm about to install. I had a Terra 35 on each of the quads I had before the Pioneer and was always impressed with them.

What is the purpose of the power distribution module? I've installed couple winches on atvs but I've never ran into one of these. What are the advantages? Also I keep hearing about the line angle concern from using a kfi mount. Are there other mounts that don't create this angle? Thanks for any help. After that mudhole I ran into yesterday, I'm ready to pull trigger on a winch.

the cooper busman pdm that jackal and others have used on their builds has 5 fused relays and 10 fuses in one convenient package. it makes life simpler for adding multiple accessories because your relays and fuses are already to go in a plug and play module. a single heavy gage wire from your battery to the pdm powers all the relayed and fused accessories that you add to your vehicle (instead of having to wire them all up separately and potentially run individual power wires to each relay). it's not necessarily required for mounting the winch. It's just a convenient way to buy/install a new power center similar to your stock fuseblock and relay system.
as far as the cable angle, I believe all mounts end up with the same angle.

Cool thanks for the explanation. Not sure what (if any) extra electrical accessories I will add, so I'll have to think about buying one. As for the winch, is it too low or too high for the fairlead? If it's too low, is there enough overhead space to use a spacer block between winch and mount? I made one for my Foreman when new winch I bought sat lower than previous one.
