hey @Chooglin , just my mind going crazy if I had that equipment to cut metal. If you ever do a gen 2, a small tab on the flush face piece would provide a catch for a DIY cam lock installation. I show the lower left corner as my box is filled with a rectangular radio. Just thinking out loud. Great product!

New owner here. Have a new ‘18. Had the pleasure of picking up my very own Choog Box today directly from the man, no, the legend himself! Already installed. Great product from a great guy! Definitely a must have item for these awesome little machines!

I'm looking at your glove box and it looks like a nice addition. The only issue I have is that I've installed my winch solenoid on the tabs that the box mounts too. It seems like a great place for the solenoid, any alternate locations you might suggest for the solenoid? Also do you make boxes for the under the seat space, I was thinking about putting a second battery there .

This is where I moved my winch solenoid to. There are already two holes in the vertical frame brace that you can use to mount the solenoid bracket.

I do not make a battery box for under the seat. A few have ask this question so maybe I should look into making these too.

I do like the box, I just have to determine where I want the solenoid and any switches I need to put in the dash. I've been playing lumberjack this week after a strong wind storm took down some trees this past Monday.

Well hell, if you guys are making random requests for what @Chooglin should make next... make me a sport SxS frame - transfer all the parts off the Pioneer on to the new frame and add some after market suspension seats and a big bore kit.

50" wide with Honda reliability (sort of).

Then your mail man will retire.

Just a update on powder coating the glove boxes. I have talked with the powder coater and he will be doing boxes this week for me. All boxes will be powder coated flat black.

The bad news , price is going up to $130 U.S.A. per box AND $170 usd Canada per box (includes shipping ).

I will not have the powder coated boxes available until next week some time. If you would still like to order a box , I have the non-coated boxes available at the old price $115.

If interested in getting one of my boxes , just send me a Private message for payment info.

Thanks
Joe
I don't think 15 is bad.
If you buy paint, primer, sandpaper etc.
Also you can put it in right away.
In any weather..No matter how cold

I haven't forgotten about those doors , I had alot of reliability issues when making the transition to the powder coat boxes and I just set the doors aside for now.

Plenty of room for all, aux. terminals, power steering, glove box, winch contoller and remote, speakers, horn..it never ends. Winch controller just zip tied around cross frame. ChooglinGlove box is a jewel.
