The pioneer Facebook group has several thousand members now I think... might start there. Most of those guys seem to be big mud riders but there's always someone interested...

Slightly back on topic, finally got some work in on the PROTC official support trailer. She's finally in primer! Still have a few screw holes to fill and put a base coat of paint so I can mount all the lights. So far I think I've counted 20 lights it will have so far. Then I need to figure out a place to mount fuel cans and such.

I'm hoping to shoot for under 800lb dry. With fuel, water, spare tire and personal effects I'm hoping to keep it as close to 1k as possible.

Thanks buddy. Interior is coming along. Floors are done, I have to finish the wiring and batteries and supporting structures for the a/c and heat.

2k is the max from what I've seen. Lighter weight equals better fuel economy, which will be important on a journey of this caliber.

So I didn't bother reading all 2461 posts BUT. ...This is extremely appealing to me!! After I realized you're talking 2018 and not this year it is even more so. How many days are you thinking? 15-20? Can we get some off road journalists to check in and follow along the way? I've got a little trailer I can build something like you have going there. This truly would be EPIC!!!
