No I have not seen the Slasher, but seems I read somewhere about it being 30-40#. Not trying to be mean, but when it comes to strength, that can not compare to a well made 80+# bumper. Seems the shipping weight was 125# due to coming in a really well made crate.
The Slasher is a pretty sturdy bumper. I was a little apprehensive about winching but have had no issues nor have I felt unsure of it in the least way after using a couple times.
@Landman should have had his on at Coalmont

I agree with you 100%, that TC is spec'ed/looks considerably stronger than the Slasher. Also, I really like the 2" receiver on the front and muchhhh beefier shackle points. The Slasher shackle points are pretty cheesy IMO and most likely will not winch off of them without modification. If I didn't end up spending all my schillings on the thousand other fun mods all you guys post about, I probably would've been able to afford the TC..

I had an RD bumper and really liked the look. After going back to stock, I have more ground clearance, better approach angle, less weight up front. I'd like a bit more headlight protection but I never smashed the front fenders stock and with the RD I got a log stuck between the headlight and bumper. I also constantly had overheating issues with the RD and never once got above 3 bars with the stock bumper.

No I haven’t but I like the looks of it. I went back with the same brush guard and moved my old one to my buddies. New style winch hook too on the new rope. So far so good and under 300$

DAMN IT it! And here I was all set to get a Tough Country bumper until I saw this one. So anyone know prices on this one or how much it’s options are? Very interested in this one know. Damn I need to stop coming on here, I spend way too much money!
I like the looks of this one better than the TC especially if the receiver were flush, but without a top mount winch I dunno if I'd want it.

I don't think it's as strong as a tough country either.
