plan in ordering the PCV soon for my 1000-5 and had a few questions.

The POD-300 display looks cool and would like to be able to customize a display but will I be able to make adjustments with it instead of using laptop? It says real time adjustments just doesn’t explain what adjustments.

What would ideal combo be. PCV, AutoTune, POD-300 and exhaust? Or is the POD-300 just a $200 display?

I’m happy with my setup now but everyone wants more power right? Especially with my 32” OutBack Max’s.

Would like to stay 500-700 but if I could spend 1000 and get major wow factor then I would.

Oh and I just mud so I’m after low end power/torque

I believe there is a mailorder tune available now. Silber maybe?
Could be worth an email to them to see how custom they can make it to your machine.

have you bought one yet? I just pulled the trigger on the PCV and auto tune. they're on sale so I couldn't pass up the auto tune lol. I should have it Monday or Tuesday. I'm not even sure how it really works so guess I'll learn as I go.

Well exhaust and PCV is in. Decided to test before I put everything back together and Pioneer won’t start and has code 13 for rear injector failure. I have already put new plugs for both injectors and I can remove the PCV plugs and go straight to injector and it runs fine. Checked program and it’s right for 1000 so it has to be in module or short in the PCV plugs. Not the way I thought my PCV journey would start. Exhaust sounds good though.

Any tips or tricks while I wait for seller to respond?

You wouldn't be the first to have problems. I'd triple check the wires.

Unfortunately all wires I can get to show fine but don’t know how to check plugs without cutting into their harness and I’m sure that will void warranty

Does the seller you purchased your PCV from have a tune built into it?

If not its pretty much useless unless you autotune, make a map, or download a known good map. Just plugging it in isn't going to do a thing for power production.

I've had my fill of them, just got done fiddling with one off a Monkey and the autotune didn't work and DynoJet still hasn't figure it out yet. I would rather have someone flash an ecm with a known good tune. Plus the numbers your putting into the tables on a PCV dont have any meaning other than being on a scale from 1-100. It's not like fuel injection time in milliseconds or whatever, it's just a wild number. In my experience, their more trouble then their worth.

Well s***. I thought the map it came with was some improvement. I was also hoping I could find and download a better map but so far no luck

It should already have a map for the pioneer. Worse case, you can download it from dynojets website. The fuel table adjustments are a % more or less to adjust the stock fueling. If you add 10, that means your adding 10% more fuel than what the ECU is calling for.

Yes it has map for Pioneer from DynoJet and I assumed that was some improvement
It should be. Nothing ground breaking on a stock machine, but better response, maybe lower engine temps. Look at the map on the spreadsheet program thing they have and you can see where fuel was added or removed.

It add quite a bit of fuel everywhere and 4 degs timing over 80% throttle. If anything it is on the rich side by default.
