DynoJet tech asked me to send him pics of the injector plugs to make sure the polarity didn’t get crossed. The reds don’t line up when plugged into each other. These are replacement plugs due to stock injector plugs going bad. If polarity was crossed how would it be working without the PCV?? Sent pics but haven’t heard back yet

What year is your machine? I will pull the diagram and see which come from the pgm-fi.

2016 green/blue and green/black are the signal wires from the pgm-fi.

Thanks but if it’s crossed how does it work without the PCV? If I bypass the PCV and go straight to injector it runs fine. Should I swap the PCV side?

The injector will pulse if the ground/ecm is swapped. Injector is grounded on one pin of the harness, sitting there waiting for the signal from the pgm-fi to spray some fuel.

The PCV could be sending the signal right to chassis ground never getting to the injector.

Yeah... you should check that blue and black wire. There’s more than one. I’m guessing that’s your problem... don’t ask me how I know.

Yes.. but are you sure you’re in the right location? Just take a pic when you get home to where you’re positap is located.

DynoJet tech just emailed me back and said it looks like the polarity is flipped on the PCV. Told me to verify it with meter by seeing if my stock red wire has voltage on it. Said they would fix it if that was the case.

Seller I bought from has already sent out a new one and should be here tomorrow but I’d rather fix this one if it’s just switching two wires.

I will send pic later of positap but I’ve looked back at my instructions and online pics and I’m sure I tapped right wire on right plug but hell I’ve been wrong before.

Thanks for replies

Know it’s hard to tell but it’s on the right plug and wire. Blue/black wire on 4 prong plug on front of throttle bodies.

And I checked factory plug and I do have the signal voltage on the red so polarity is crossed on the PCV like the DynoJet guy said

That's the right wire. I feel your pain though.
I just got finished installing a PCV and autotune. It would work for a very short time and then the PCV program on my PC would stop responding. I barely had enough time to open a few tables up and it would freeze. It was running off an older laptop with Windows 7. Switched to a new laptop with Windows 10 and it is running great.
I don't have any idea what the problem was for sure but I can finally start making some changes.

DynoJet tech wants me to swap both wires on both PCV plugs for rear injectors. I can get the grey inside retainers off both but can’t get the pins to release. Wouldn’t it be easier for me to switch the wires on the factory plug since I have already spliced them with the repair kit or is the injector itself polarity sensitive??

The red on both my stock injector plugs has the signal voltage

Not sure about polarity.

But those pins are a PITA to take apart.
There is a little tab inside you have to lift. A small pic is what I use.
I might can get some pics tomorrow of the tab if the camera can see it.

Alright reason I’m asking is because I got the new one in from seller and it’s identical so don’t think it’s wired wrong. The tech said the reds should line up but on machine plug the red is the signal. The PCV side the red jumps directly to other plug that goes on injector. Seems like the ground would be one jumped from plug to plug and the signal would run through the PCV. Or am I looking at this wrong ?

attached pics of PCV plugs and factory plug. The PCV plugs with jumper is for rear injector and other is front.
