I want to install EZ Steer PS on my P5. I already have the under hood storage box and would like to keep it. I saw here where @solrus relocated his control box to allow for the storage box. He used a horn bracket? He doesn't mention however if that worked out.

Are the wires long enough to allow for a different location of the control box? Other thoughts?

I modified the control bracket to mount it beside Honda storage box. All it needs then is forward driver side plastic pin boss removed so it sits flat again. It’s the 1 1/4 square where the front driver side pin holds the box down. I found wires too short for battery connection for clean install, so put a buss bar on passenger side and ran power and ground up to it, then shortened steering harness.

Thank you. Do you have a pic of the buss bar?

Just a black 8 terminal one from an electrical store. I’ve seen them at auto parts before too. This allows you to lay in wires neatly and tie them up with existing harness. Bar is on passenger side under dash.
