Finally received my Pull Pal today. It seems pretty heavy duty. This is the 6K gvwr model. Now that I know exactly how big it is folded I can get some mounts for it. We've had a lot of snow lately and the places I ride probably have more than we do here. I'll see if I can get out this weekend and try it. If not it might be a month or two before that happens

Only downside so far is the spade doesn't stay on it when folded. I'll need to carry it somewhere else, but I knew that.

BTW, it was a birthday present from my wife

Looks like if you get stuck in the mud etc and there is no tree near by to winch out with just use the spade. The harder you pull on it with your winch the deeper it goes making it a great place to winch out from even in a open field

I only knew what it was from seeing one on tv. I've considered trying to make one some day. It's on my list. But it's a long list lol.

Hmmmmm. She bought it because of experience? She knows you?

I would gladly pay full price if I could try it where I ride and see that it will work.

I don't purposely try to get stuck. In fact, I avoid it completely if possible. But, when you're 40 miles from the nearest road with no cell service, it's nice to have some insurance. There's some really nasty mud holes which I try to go around, but that means blazing your own trail, usually through the muskeg. That doesn't always go well... lol
