I prefer those while changing hot antifreeze. Also double as great apparel for riding dirt bikes in heavy rocks or thick woods applications

I agree! If you mangle a foot up, it's a lot easier to cut sandals off than ridding boots, just kidding, I wear socks!

Are those the ones cricket wore at Overland... they are tough.

You will have to remove the pathetic factory skid. 10mm socket needed.

No matter how much you wash it, mud will hide.

If you are planning rear accessories that need power, you can easily run it with skid dropped. The splitloom running along the factory cables has the power feeds for future accessories.

I really wish I had known that when I first started doing my accessories. Live and learn but I would have run one big loom with all kinds of wire for future projects. As it is I cleaned up my current wiring and ran a smaller loom with wires for planned future projects when I had my skids off.

And you are right you can never get them fully clean

I busted the front skid plate and ordered a new one. it came with a reenforcing plate between front and middle skid plates???
