P1000 Rock Lights

Is anyone thinking of installing rock light(underglow)? Has anyone done this before on their UTV? I have not only on snowmobiles. Just curious if there are any good kits you guys know of.

I put rock lights on my list. It's pretty far down the list but I think it will be useful on occasion.

This is just wired to a 9v battery but you get the idea. I will eventually get around to my own build thread but I'm waiting on a few items yet

Ok. What are those good for or what do they accomplish? Are they just for visual effect?

I have a set of white led strips I'm going to mount today on mine. I'll post pics when they are done.

These can be used to help see obstacles near your vehicle at night. Also, when navigating a tough technical trail these can be used by the spotter to help guide the driver.

And yes, some people will use them for visual effect.

Just installed mine last night. Forgot to get a pic. Mine aren't that bright though. They are more for show.

Please tell us what you used for lights and where you mounted them. That looks great!

I think the mounting position is key here. If you want the lights for looks, it doesn't matter much. But if you want the lights for actual trail use, position may matter.

Mount them near the center shinning out may be good. Also, mounted over the wheel shinning in may be good. I may have to put two at each wheel!

Mine will be mostly for looks. I test fit them right over the tire and they looked nice there
