Off topic-- what's that rack you have on front there?
rack is a rear rack for a 2" receiver just removed the tube and made a frame for it to set on. Rack can be removed EZ.

Looked like a custom job-- pretty handy looking!

Those of you that have the Warn ProVantage kit.. what are your likes and dislikes?

I don't want a mid-mount plow, I want an easy to hook up front mount.

Those of you with the Denali 72" Pro, do you need to do anything to the suspension of the Honda? How's it handle the weight?

Just ordered a 2020 P1000-3D. Putting a plow on it, going with 72" Moose with quick detach front mount per dealer suggestion. If there is something better under $2000 I will reconsider as machine will not be in until mid Oct. Coming from a Can AM 800 with matching 60" plow which was not without its faults...like detaching from the mounts in the middle of a plowing session. Ugh. All advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Okay, looking for some help here guys. I live in good old Buffalo, NY........home of the deep a$$ snow. I just got done putting a tough country bumper on the front of my PK1 and love it. But now I’m thinking about doing away with the plow on the front of my Yamaha grizzly 700 ( that things a beast pushing snow) and putting one on the Honda. Does anyone have or know which plow and plow frame setup with work with a tough country bumper? Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

hi folks, hopefully this thread is still active. looking at putting a plot on my 2016 P1K Deluxe. From what I've read so far in the thread the 72" Denali looks like a winner.

Looking for a couple suggestions on this, on this page I'm unsure on the options that I need.

Do I need any extra pushtube/lift on a 2016 P1K?

What about the option for a PLOW PULLEY FAIRLEAD?

I don't think I'm planning to go with a hydro turn system.

Lastly, I've read I need a synthetic winch rope, can anyone suggest a good one? I have a metal winch rope currently.

Whatever you get, you definitely want a pulley fairlead. I have the OEM Warn system and it came with the pulley assembly.

Without the pulley, your putting the full weight of the plow up and down with the winch. With the pulley, you run the winch through the pulley back to the frame halving the load, at half the speed. The slower speed is actually an advantage in this case, as it gets you better control of plow height.

Ok. How do I know which pulley fairlead to get? The normal or oversized?

Oversized will be less wear on the winch cable.

Thanks for your help Ivan.

I suppose my last consideration before ordering is for the pushtube.
I'm just not certain what I would need.

Do I need any extra pushtube/lift on a 2016 P1K? Or just standard is ok? What does this do?

you only need an extended tube if you're running tracks.

I plow quite a bit here with my 2016 P1000-3. After going through MANY synthetic cables (wire cables are not an option!!!!!) I took a 2" tow strap and cut it to about 10 feet and just taped it to my cable and once it goes around the winch once it holds itself in place. (thus if I do something foolish, I can still have my winch when I need it) The tow strap has lasted 2 winters and still isn't showing any wear.
