Out and about in the same general area yesterday and today.
Although the terrain doesn't appear steep at all from the camera's point of view, it was a tough climb made worse by my buddy having a worn rear tire. I finally got to use my winch.

In NW Maine for the next week, got to explore Flagstaff lake area today. First ride with the new pup, wife will be looking at 1000-5s now after holding a 55lb "pup" for 50 miles.

The wife and I are planning a trip out west next september, we want to do the Grand Canyon but also ride some other places with view like this, are there campgrounds that I can ride from to get to trails like this?

There are plenty places to "camp" near this area. It's all state trust land. I'm not aware of any official campgrounds though, but the Southwest is full of terrain like this so I'm sure there are plenty with campgrounds nearby.

Looking at some older posts. Gotta dig out some stickers. Know I've got a few more @rocmar memorial stickers somewhere. I tried to salvage my H.F.A.W.H.A. sticker from the 500, but looks like it's no good. @Plumber32?

How are you liking the 700 compared to the 500 on the trail. I liked my 500 but when I moved to the 7 it was night and day difference compared to the other one

So far, everything I expected (better ride, better on obstacles, etc) I'd owned a 700 before the 500, so i knew what to expect.
I do confess that the supposed 2021 520 DCT 500 might have interested me if it has better ride, but at the end of the day, I don't really need a 50" machine out here.
