I'm not a fanboi. I'd love a KRX...but I'd have to buy a new trailer as well as the outlay for the SXS. And I kinda need a bed. Probably a Wolverine. An RMAX would be awesome, but that would probably require a new trailer as well. And 20k is just too much for a toy.

My front diff input seal appears to be leaking again after a few rides. This ain't the same 700 I knew...

As much as you ride and take photos in the AZ desert you should decide on a company name like "desert photos", sell a photo or two, and then buy a new Talon or whatever and write off the costs of payments, insurance, fuel, and maintenance against your income tax return.

Probably only a very small few photographers actually make money from photography but making money at it wouldn't be your main goal.

Making your buggy and operating costs tax deductible would be your goal.

If you call it a business and make some effort to sell photos it's a business and business expenses are tax deductible.

The IRS can't tell you it's not a business just because it's not a profitable business.

First ride of the year. Had to stay quite low and didn't get far. Still way too much snow.

Interesting ride last Friday around the Picacho Mountains south of Florence. Baby owl fell out it’s nest near an old building. We left it alone hoping mom wasn’t too far away. Then headed north to see the old stage coach site and on to see some petroglyphs.

Day 1 of the family/kids ride. Nothing but easy trails. Eternal Flame, Laco Overlook, Standing Stone and Cave Branch Trail. @Bad_bowtie broke a front axle and bent a tie rod coming down Cave Branch Trail. Took about a hour+ to get tie rod replaced due to being in such a bad spot. Went 10 minutes down the trail and @Bad_bowtie broke his other front axle, bent the other tie rod and busted off the tie rod end. We had to leave his machine overnight due to not having parts.

Day 2 of the family/ kids ride became a recovery mission. 7 hours total getting there, fixing rig and driving back to Mexican restaurant. Rig was in a really bad spot. Took a while to get it where we could work on it. @Bad_bowtie drove his 2wd pioneer our successfully lol. Ate Mexican and finished the weekend off with a night ride down trail 2 and up trail 26. 26 is good and rowdy right now. No pics of the hardest parts on 26 due to me just hoping I could make it.
