I am wanting to put some LED lights side facing on my P1K5 for shooting hogs. I ha e front and rear facing LEDs but want adive for mounting and type of light to use.
If you don’t already have a mount an your a pillar then they are a good place to mount pods that can be aimed outward.

Hi.
Welcome to the club.

What kind of lights do you need for hog hunting?

I mounted my side lights with an L bracket where the rear side nets were bolted. You could probably mount any size light you want.

I was just getting ready to post this when I see you did the same thing lol. I hunt at night as well and wanted some side vision. I mounted the same 7" lights I use on the front in the net holders on the sides as well. I didn't have it in me to drill a brand new $300 roof not knowing how well they would work. I don't know how far you need to see, but I have a daytime like view out to 30 yards plus to my sides, with eye reflection way beyond that. Facing forward, between pair of 7" lights and the Stark LED headlights, I can easily see 50+ yards in front of me.

This is the front setup, as well as a picture from last weekend in the dead of night. Sorry, no side pictures though ☹️

I wanted something that stayed inside frame rails, incase I slide the roof on a tree or somethings rubs. I did t want to rip light off. I got this setup from another member.
