After riding @ Coalmont with @joeymt33 and some hard rock hits, noticed a intermittent rattle. Turns out the skid plate was rubbing on a metal tube, so a plastic shim fixed it. If I ever have to take the skid plate off I”ll bang it back out.
Q: Is the black round tube just part of the engine mount or something else?

I don’t know the P5 very well but that looks like part of the motor mount.

That tube looks like the engine cradle. It’s rubber mounted and moves around some.

Do you have aftermarket skids? I can't tell.

Yes, Ricochet full belly and rock sliders, a arms. Very slight concave bend from hard hit, about 1/8 inch but close enough for rattle at certain rpm. Maybe the UHM?? Type would have sprung back after the hit.
