Thought I would share a picture of my new eagle manufacturing plow installed. It is 72 inch wide and I also installed the Eagle electric turn system. So far I’ve used it once for a small snowstorm and it worked great. I’m glad I went with the 72”, when it is fully turned the 66 would not be wide enough.

I recently got a steal on the new Kolpin Switchblade plow. It is the one that is "universal" and can be assembled as either a 60" or 72" plow. I will say the plow assembly went good but installing it on the machine, 2016 700-4, was a pain in the but. I will have some pictures up tomorrow to help anyone else out with this as it would have saved me quite a bit of time as Kolpin doesn't have any instructions for the Pioneer install. I'm curious how this plow will hold up but for the price I couldn't pass it up.

Here's the install photos, not the best but hope it helps someone. Had to drill a few holes into the skid plates, but no big deal. I think I will make a new plow mount plate over the summer, not a fan of the one it came with, but should work for this season.3502efa07f585d242f795b2f534d25ce53be7badc8b9e54835159d871f37910cB56cf8d2da23017bacc1d00f009918fb0948b197cd6fe5f8df260a17f22feb714b28ae6947e0a094b586f467d89e455cD500963550cdbd9a65da2254914d096c3455d252fe4238d95b2a7f2fbe37d661

Yeah you'll be glad you got the 72'' plow. This is my first winter plowing with mine and I got a 72'' Denali Pro and its amazing. These machines have plenty of low end torque for plowing. I had 12'' of wet heavy snow on the ground my first time out and it cleared the driveway with no problem. Some different than using a 4 wheeler.

Yes I agree, plenty of power and the 72 inch is the way to go for the Pioneer 700. I’ve used it twice so far this year and I’m very happy with it. The electric turn system I put on is worth every penny.

Electric turn system? Sounds wonderful. Which plow are you using, and where did you get this magical electric turn system?

Running the KFI 66" blade on my 62" wide machine. Works fine, not as heavy and doesn't take up anymore room in the garage than necessary.

I contacted KFI and they told me the plow fully angled is 62", but I don't usually angle the plow that much anyway.
